Box Score FORT VALLEY, GA (February, 21, 2014) – Fort Valley State (0-10; 0-2) drops a double-header to Georgia Southwestern (8-5) 9-0 and 10-2, Friday afternoon at Wildcat Softball Field.

In the opener the Lady Wildcats were blanked at the plate, as GSW scored three runs in the first, one run in the second and five runs in the fifth.

In game two, FVSU scored two runs in the third and the most runs they have scored all season. Bia Stearns was hit-by-pitch and moved to second on a sac by to pitcher. Asia Buckner scored Sterns on an inside the park homerun.

GSW scored five runs in the first, two more in the second and a final three in the fifth.

FVSU will travel to Atlanta, GA to play Clark Atlanta University in a conference double-header at 1 and 3 pm.
