FORT VALLEY, GA - The Fort Valley State University men's basketball team is headed to Daytona Beach, FL to play in a non-conference contest with Sunshine State Conference (SSC) foe Embry-Riddle College on Monday, December 18
th at 7 p.m. Monday's meeting with the Eagles marks the first meeting between the two teams.
FVSU (7-5) is enters the matchup having come off a Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) 60-53 win over Tuskegee University. Embry-Riddle (5-6) on the other hand has won one out of their last four games. Rudy Bibb-Boyd leads the Eagles with an 18.1 average, while Nashad Mackey is averaging 12.2 rebounds.

Walter Foster (11.0) and
