The Induction Ceremony takes place at the College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta, Georgia. He was named AFC Player of the Year in 1994 while earning five Pro-Bowl selections, three NFL All-Pro from 1993-1995, Two-Time Steelers Team MVP and a member of the Steelers All-Time Team.

Lloyd (born May 26, 1965) in Miami, Florida was a standout football player at Fort Valley State University from 1984-87, Lloyd was a three-time All-SIAC selection and was also named SIAC Player of the Year in 1986 and named First Team SBN All-American. Lloyd was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the six round of the 1988 NFL draft. His career lasted more than 10 seasons with the storied franchise.

Lloyd was injured his first year 1987, and most of the 1988 season, but became a starter during the 1989 season at outside linebacker where he excelled. He became the emotional and fiery leader of the Steelers defense and drafted in 1987 by then-Steelers coach Chuck Noll.

Lloyd was indeed the most feared player in the league for his time. Jim Harbaugh claims he wasn't afraid of anything until he played against Greg Lloyd, the man he respected and feared on the gridiron more than anyone.
