VALDOSTA, Ga. – Fort Valley State University Football's Darnell Stephens added another accolade to his standout 2025 campaign, earning a spot on the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) All-Region Second Team as a cornerback.

Stephens capped the season as the NCAA Division II national leader in pass breakups with 19. He also totaled 33 tackles and three interceptions, contributing to an exceptional year that previously earned him First Team All-Conference honors from the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

This postseason, Stephens has collected multiple honors, including All-SIAC First Team Cornerback, a selection to the HBCU Legacy Bowl, and recognition as a BOXTOROW All-American.
