TOCCOA FALLS, Ga. -- On an early Friday evening, Toccoa Falls prevailed over Fort Valley State 3-0 in straight volleyball sets.

The Eagles (9-5) took the opening two sets by identical 25-17 finals, before a 25-15 third set.

The Wildcats (2-4) received eight-kill efforts from both Nia Thomas and Nia Bell. Thomas added nine digs, while Bell had a team-best 17 digs and two total blocks.

Rita Davis handed out 16 assists to go with seven digs. Santrila Mosely had seven assists of her own.

FVSU will return to the court next Thursday morning (Sept. 27th) at 11 a.m. against Miles College as part of the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Crossover weekend in Albany, Ga.
