FVSU Men's Basketball's Williams Earns Wildcats Co-Male Athlete of the Week

FORT VALLEY, Ga. -- Continuing a solid run of play, Joe Williams of men's basketball earned the Wildcats Co-Men's Athlete of the Week honors. Williams helped FVSU split a pair of games, including a 67-63 victory last Saturday afternoon over Albany State. In the two games, Williams of Statesboro, Ga., averaged 10.5 points and 7.0 rebounds. Joe scored 6 points and pulled down 9 rebounds versus Albany State, before he was a perfect 6 for 6 from the field and 3 for 3 from the foul line for a season-high 15 points to go with five rebounds and a pair of blocked shots against Morehouse College.
