Wilson Named HBCU National Player of the Week

Fuquay-Varina, NC - Fort Valley State running back Emanuel Wilson has been named HBCU National Player of the Week.

Wilson, a redshirt-junior from Charlotte, N.C., carried the ball 28 times for 221 yards, averaged 7.9 yards per carry, and three touchdowns as Fort Valley State defeated Albany State 31-21 in the Fountain City Classic.

Wilson will be highlighted on the nationally syndicated sports talk show BOXTOROW w/ Donal Ware which airs on radio stations across the country. A list of radio stations that carry the program can be found here www.boxtorow.com/affiliate-stations
