Wildcats Men's Hoops Ready for Thorobreds Rematch in SIAC Tourney 1st Round

ROCK HILL, S.C. -- The Wildcats come off a strong last week of the regular season and aim to ride the momentum into this week's postseason action! Fort Valley State moved up to the Number 4 seed in Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference East final standings and will battled the Number 5 West Division seed Kentucky State in the SIAC Men's Basketball Tournament First Round on Monday afternoon.

Starting as the SIAC East No. 4 seed FVSU will be in the home uniforms versus the SIAC West No. 5 seed Kentucky State in the First Round on Monday afternoon, Feb. 28, in a 12:15 p.m. scheduled tip time! The winner of the contest will move to face SIAC Wes No. 1 Miles College on Wednesday, March 2, afternoon.

The Thorobreds came back from Wildcats 13-point second-half lead for a 78-70 win on Nov. 27 in Fort Valley, Ga.
