FORT VALLEY, Ga. – The Wildcats added another victory Friday night to their inaugural win total. Fort Valley State established control early in the first set and went on to spike past Morehouse College, 3-0, in Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference men's volleyball action.

FVSU (4-9) rattled off 10-straight points midway through the opening set and coasted to a 25-7 win. Leading 19-15 in set number two, the Wildcats' Saferino Dour lined an ace and he had three different teammates follow with kills for the separation needed in a 25-17 victory. The home team finished off Morehouse in the third set capped by the match's final six tallies in a 25-14 score.

Oshane Farquharson led the FVSU charge with 11 kills, a .562 hitting percentage, four digs, and three blocks. Justin Yates posted a season-high six kills to go with 24 assists, while Rashaun Wright added six kills of his own in nine swings and a pair of blocks. Rekay Singleton chipped in six digs, and three kills.

FVSU has Saturday off, before it hosts Edward Waters on Sunday afternoon, March 20, in a 3 p.m. match.
