Edward Waters Prevails over FVSU Volleyball

FORT VALLEY, Ga. – It turned out to be Friday the 13th on the court for the Wildcats. Edward Waters started strong and prevailed over Fort Valley State in women's volleyball, 3-0.
 
The Tigers (12-5/8-1 SIAC East) claimed all three sets by scores of 25-12, 25-13 and 25-17.
 
FVSU (10-11/5-9 SIAC East) was led by Morgan Hebert with four kills, five digs and four assists and Laiani McCullough, who had 12 assists, four kills and seven digs. Hallea Gibbs added four kills and five digs.
 
Fatima Ramirez downed a match-best 18 kills.
 
FVSU will be off until Tuesday (Oct. 17) when it travels to Albany State for a 6 p.m. match.
