BANNER ELK, N.C. – After a week off, the refreshed Wildcats took their show on the road for the first of three-straight matches. Fort Valley State pounced on host Lees-McRae by taking the opening two sets, before Isaiah Fedd killed the final point of set four for the 3-1 men's volleyball victory.

Trailing 20-16 in the opening set, FVSU (2-7) pulled back to within 23-21. Fedd killed the next point and saw the Bobcats (6-4) make three-straight attack errors to seal the Wildcats first set win, 25-23. Behind 3-2, FVSU ran off the next eight points and 16 of 18 in the run to open an 18-5 lead and coasted to a 25-13 victory and 2-0 lead in the match.

The Bobcats gained the momentum and forced a fourth set with a 25-13 third set win. In the fourth, the set saw the team each hold slim leads throughout until a 22-22 deadlock.
