ATLANTA, Ga. – The Wildcats were able to get back in the win column Tuesday night. Fort Valley State used runs in each set to roll past Morehouse College, 3-0, in Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference men's volleyball play.

The Wildcats (5-12) registered a 14-3 first set run to turn an early point deficit into a 19-9 lead on the way to a 25-15 win. FVSU held an early 6-5 lead before it rattled off the next six points and never look back in set number two, 25-13. Morehouse (0-11) held an 8-6 advantage, but FVSU scored nine of the next 10 tallies and rode it to a 25-15 win to complete the match.

Taviian Martin guided the Wildcat attack with seven kills and two errors in 11 attacks for a .455 percentage and four total blocks. Khairi Mitchell contributed five kills with one error in six attacks (.667) to go with five digs and three aces. Jacquee Taylor recorded three kills, two digs and an ace in his first action.

Aidan Pullan had top honors for the Maroon Tigers with seven kills.

FVSU heads to Tennessee for a pair of weekend matches starting at Tusculum University on Friday evening (Mar. 17) starting at 6 p.m.
