Marauders Hold Home Court over Wildcats

WILBERFORCE, Ohio – The Wildcat delved into Conference play for the first time Friday evening. Central State held on its home court by producing short runs in each set of the 3-0 victory over Fort Valley State men's volleyball.

The Marauders (9-12/2-1 SIAC) answered the Wildcats (3-11/0-1 SIAC) run with the first set's final four points for the 25-20 opening win. After FVSU took a 7-6 edge, Central State ran off six of the next seven tallies in set number two and went on for the 25-18 final. The home team turned a slim 13-11 lead into a 16-11 one and it proved to be enough to close out the match, 25-19.
