Wildcats Football Scheduled for Five National Broadcast 2023 Games

ATLANTA, Ga. – If you can't travel on the road this fall, the Wildcats have you covered! Fort Valley State will have five of its six road games scheduled to be on one of the three Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference docket for ESPNU, ESPN+ and the new partnership with HBCU Go Sports.

FVSU will be the lone SIAC member to appear in both of the upcoming 2023 featured ESPNU broadcasts when it plays Tuskegee University in Montgomery, Ala. at the third edition of the Red Tails Classic at 7 p.m. EST/6 p.m. CST on Sunday night, Sept. 3. The Wildcats will also play a special Thursday night tilt, Oct. 12, in a 7:30 p.m. kick-off against the defending champion Tigers of Benedict College in Columbia, S.C.

FVSU will take to the ESPN+ online airwaves two times this fall. In its first trip to the Columbia, S.C. area, FVSU will have its contest at Allen University on Saturday evening, Sept. 30, in a 6 p.m. start in Blythewood, S.C. As in years past, the 33^rd Annual Fountain City Classic against Albany State on Saturday, Nov. 4, in Columbus, Ga., kicks off at 2 p.m.

The Wildcats final national audience broadcast will be on the airwaves of the newest SIAC partner in Byron Allen's Allen Media Group (AMG) free-streaming digital platform HBCU Go – the leading media provider for the nation's 107 HBCU institutions. In Week 2, FVSU travels to Atlanta to take on Clark Atlanta on Saturday, Sept. 9, in 2 p.m. afternoon contest. The online address for HBCU Go is HBCUGO.tv.

The lone other FVSU road game in Frankfort, Ky., on Saturday, Sept. 23, against Kentucky State will be broadcast on the Kentucky State Sports Network.

If for some reason you can't get to Wildcat Stadium for one of the four home games, FVSU will have you covered there as well! The FVSU athletics department and the athletics communications office will stream each on an online platform address to be announced in the coming weeks.
