‘Meet the Wildcats’ Event Welcomed All Saturday Morning

FORT VALLEY, Ga. – The hot day in 'The Valley' was met with smiling faces. The Fort Valley State athletics department and football team held its annual 'Meet the Wildcats' this morning.

All the 2023 Wildcats were in attendance and had Sharpies in hand to sign all the team posters on hand. The Wildcat fans also grabbed 2023 season schedule magnets and had refreshments on the warm late morning Saturday.

FVSU has one two more weeks of preparations before it travels to Montgomery, Ala., for the third year in a row to kick-off the season at the Red Tails Classic. The Wildcats take on the Golden Tigers of Tuskegee in a 7 p.m. EST start. If you can't make the trip to the Cramton Bowl, the game will be live on ESPNU.
