Shawn Gibbs Selected as Assistant Coach for Reese’s Senior Bowl

MOBILE, Ala. -- The Reese's Senior Bowl announced today that Fort Valley State University's Head Coach Shawn Gibbs will be a part of the coaching staff at the 2024 Senior Bowl.

Gibbs will be a member of the National Team coaching staff and will coach running backs.

The Reese's Senior Bowl is the preeminent college football all-star game and the first stage in the NFL Draft process. The Senior Bowl has taken place for 74 years in Mobile, AL.

Senior Bowl Information

Forty percent of the 2023 NFL draft picks played in the Senior Bowl. This year's game looks to match that number.

"It's a great honor to be representing Fort Valley State on the sidelines at an elite football game like the Reese's Senior Bowl. The game preparation, the talent of the athletes competing, and the pace will help me be an even better head coach. I can't wait to learn from some of the best coaches and student-athletes in the country," said Gibbs.

The Reese's Senior Bowl kicks-off on Saturday, February 3 at 1:00pm ET.
