Lions Handle Wildcats Men’s Volleyball

FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ga. – The Wildcats rolled into Tuesday without a loss since the West Coast trip, but their first NCAA Division II foe proved to be a tough one. Emmanuel College handled Fort Valley State all match and took away the 3-0 men's volleyball meeting.

The Wildcats led early in set number two, 6-4, but the Lions tallied five of the final seven points for a 25-22 final. Down 20-16 in set three, FVSU tied the set with four-straight points only to have Emmanuel regain the momentum with the following three points and eventual 25-22 win to close out the night.
