ATLANTA, Ga. – Fort Valley State University Football's Donte Curry has been named the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) Special Teams Player of the Week, marking his first conference honor of the season.

Curry provided the decisive spark in the Wildcats' 7-0 victory over Savannah State University in the Good Trouble Heritage Classic, returning a punt 76 yards for a touchdown in the first quarter, the game's only score.

He totaled 132 punt return yards on eight attempts, earning Offensive MVP honors for his outstanding performance in the Classic.
