ATLANTA, Ga. – Fort Valley State University Football placed three Wildcats on the 2025 All-Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) Teams.
Defensive back
Darnell Stephens and punt returner
Donte Curry Jr. earned First Team All-SIAC honors, while offensive lineman
Censere Wright was named to the Second Team.
Stephens put together a standout season in the secondary, leading the conference with 10 pass breakups. He also recorded three interceptions for 11 return yards and added 21 tackles through eight SIAC contests. Averaging 1.25 pass breakups and 2.63 tackles per game, Stephens consistently made an impact for the Wildcats' defense throughout the year.
Curry was a key contributor on special teams, returning 15 punts for 169 yards on the season. One of his most notable plays came with a 76-yard punt return touchdown that lifted FVSU to a 7-0 victory over Savannah State University. Curry finished the year averaging 11.7 yards per return, ranking among the conference's top return specialists.
Wright capped off the Wildcats' All-Conference selections with a strong freshman campaign. The true freshman quickly emerged as a leader up front, recording 36 knockdowns and providing consistent protection in both the run and pass game. Behind Wright's blocking, FVSU totaled 837 rushing yards and four touchdowns, averaging 104.6 yards per game on the ground.
