ATLANTA, Ga.- Fort Valley State University track & field finish appearance at Emory University's Spring Break Classic.
On the men's side there were two top three finishes.
Cornelius Cooks II,
Adetoro Adenuga,
Da'Veon Jenkins and
Weylon Williams nabbed a second place finish in the 4x200 with 1:28.07 time.
Bashan Wesley landed a 14.51m jump in the triple jump good for third place.
The women has four top three finishes with three coming from
Diamond Richardson in the field events. Richardson had snagged a second place finish in the shot put even with a 13.07m mark. She added yet first place finish to her already impressive season with a 45.90m in discus. Richardson finished her day with a first place finish in the hammer with a 49.90m mark good for first place.
Briana Madison concluded the top finishers for the Wildcats with a first place finish in the 100m hurdles with a 14.70 time.
Track & field is back in action Saturday March 29 at the Davidson College Relays.
