ATLANTA, Ga.- The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) named Diamond Richardson Women's Field Athlete of the Week after a stellar week at the Emory University Spring Break Classic. 

Richardson participated in three events nabbing top two finishes in all of them. She started off the day with a second place finish in shot put with a 13.07m mark. Richardson then moved on to the discus event which would be the highlight of the day. She earned a first place finish on top of a nationals qualification with her 45.90m mark. This makes Richardson the first thrower from the SIAC to qualify for nations so far in the 2025 outdoor season. Richardson capped off her outstanding day with a first place finish in hammer with a 49.90m throw. 

She looks to improve on her already impressive season at the Davidson College Relays on Saturday, March 29th.
