ATLANTA, Ga.- Diamond Richardson of Fort Valley State University Track & Field has been named the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) Field Athlete of the Week for the third time this season. 

Richardson nabbed three top-three finishes this past weekend at the Legends Invitational hosted by the University of West Georgia. Her weekend highlight was a first place finish in discus throwing for 44.06 meters. Richardson also picked up two, third place finishes with a 13.07 meter mark in shot put and a 45.80 meter mark in hammer. 

Richardson has also earned her spot at nationals with a spot in discus and she looks to earn two more spots in shot put and hammer.
