FORT VALLEY, Ga.- Fort Valley State University Athletics will host a campus-wide pep rally to celebrate the Wildcats' home football opener.

The pep rally is set for Friday, September 19, at 6 p.m. at the Christine & Willie C. Jones Amphitheater. Fans can enjoy performances from the Wildcat Cheerleaders and the FVSU Blue Machine Marching Band, along with remarks from Director of Athletics Daphnie Johnson as well as Coach Watson and a few impact players.

The event promises an exciting evening of spirit, music, and Blue and Old Gold pride leading into Saturday's home opener against Delta State University. Kickoff is scheduled for 3 p.m. on September 20 at Wildcat Stadium.
