ATLANTA, Ga.- Fort Valley State University return specialist Braelen Morgan has been named the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) Special Teams Player of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday.
 
Morgan made an enormous impact this weekend with two kickoff returns for 124 yards in the Wildcats' 27-20 road victory over Tuskegee University. His highlight came early in the fourth quarter, when he took a kickoff 98 yards up the field for a touchdown. The score shifted the momentum and proved to be the deciding play in FVSU's first win of the season.
 
The Wildcats return home this weekend for Homecoming, hosting Central State University on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2025 at 1 p.m. The game will air live on HBCUGo.
