SLADE JARMAN NAMED SIAC FOOTBALL OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
ATLANTA, GA — Fort Valley State’s Quarterback Slade Jarman (6-4, 220, JR) from Pensacola, FL., was named Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) Football Offensive Player of the Week for week 4, as voted on by the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC), Coaches and Sports Information Directors.
Jarman threw for 358-yards while completing 22-of-34 pass attempts, and four touchdowns in the Wildcats 31-28 double-overtime win over Benedict College on Saturday. Slade threw two 53-yard touchdowns and another two touchdowns for 28-yards. The junior finished the game rushing 12 times for 19-yards.
