Congratulations to Courtney Walker of the Fort Valley State University softball team for being named SIAC Pitcher of the Week for the week of March 26 as announced by the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference office.
 
Walker (5-9, FR, P) from Warner Robins, Ga. (Warner Robins High School) ended the week with an 11-9 record carried the Lady Wildcats to a 5-0 record. She started every game for the week including a 3-0 sweep over Paine in SIAC play. She posted a 1.67 ERA throwing four complete games including two shutout games and a no-hitter. In 29.1 innings pitched, she recorded 26 strikeouts while giving up seven earned runs.
