As she led the volleyball hitters in both matches last week, outside hitter Nia Bell picked up the Wildcats Female Athlete of the Week award for Oct. 7-13. In two matches, the senior totaled 24 kills, 24 digs, three total blocks, an assist and one ace. Against Clark Atlanta, Bell downed 16 kills and dug 17 attacks for a double-double, before she added eight kills and seven digs at Savannah State.
