Wildcats Claim First Win at SIAC Roundup

FORT VALLEY, Ga. – After getting rained out on Thursday, the Wildcats won their first win to open Friday. Fort Valley State women's tennis took a 5-1 match from Lane, before both Benedict College and Tuskegee won the next two matches.

Following wins in the two doubles matches, FVSU saw Kariah Kelly, Tyneicia Smith and Brishon Bridges all add a second win in the bout with Lane.

Benedict and Tuskegee did not lose a match with scores of 4-0 and 6-0.

The FVSU women continue their SIAC Roundup play on Saturday.
