FORT VALLEY, Ga. – On a nice Saturday afternoon, West Georgia showed its might and bit Fort Valley State in women's tennis for a 7-0 final score.

Tynricia Smith put up a tough fight for the Wildcats at top singles, but the Wolves' Timia Commodore proved too tough by a 6-3, 6-1 final. At second singles, Kariah Kelly claimed two games as the other top FVSU effort.

The FVSU women have a little over a week off, before they take part in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Roundup II in Mobile, Ala., on March 21-23.
