FVSU Women's Tennis Has Tough Opening Day

ALBANY, Ga. -- On Saturday afternoon, the Fort Valley State women's tennis team had a tough 2020 opening day against Albany State and Huntington College.

The Wildcats' (0-2) Tynricia Smith posted the best day with a tough close defeat against her Golden Rams opponent (4-6, 5-7, 0-1) in the team's 7-0 loss. Smith stayed strong and won FVSU's lone match of the day with a 6-1, 6-2 win in the Huntington College match of the 7-1 loss.
