Wildcats Sweep Pair of Women's Tennis Foes at SIAC Roundup

COLUMMBIA, S.C. -- It was a very successful day on the women's tennis court. Fort Valley State claimed 11 of the 12 matches and swept past Lane College and LeMoyne-Owen College in the second day of the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Roundup event.

The Wildcats (2-4/2-3 SIAC) took all six finished matches against Lane, 6-0, and five of the six bouts over LeMoyne-Owen, 5-1. Tynricia Smith, Leah Thomas, Brishon Bridges and Rita Davis all won two singles matches.
