Box Score FORT VALLEY, GA (October 30, 2014) – Fort Valley State University Lady Wildcats (6-20; 3-10) volleyball team dropped a three sitter (15-25, 21-25, 23-25) to the Lady Panthers of Clark Atlanta University (6-24; 6-8) last night on FVSU's campus at the HPE complex.
 
Senior outside hitter Briana Shepherd (Birmingham, AL) led FVSU with 10 kills, 4 digs, 2 solo blocks and 5 block assist, while freshman middle blocker Maya Stewart (Forsyth, GA) added 7 kills, 6 digs and 3 block assist. Sophomore sitter Alysia Harris (Riverdale, GA) led the team in assist with 15, freshman middle blocker Ayauna Ellis blocked 4 solos, 2 block assist and junior outside hitter Cori Hawkins (Birmingham, GA) chipped in 6 digs.
 
CAU top leaders were Alexandria Baptiste, Cori Smith and Sierra Scoggins with 8 kills each.
 
FVSU final home games will be Sunday, November 2, with Claflin University at 2 p.m. and Monday, November 3, against Albany State University at 6 p.m. Their final regular season game is Wednesday, November 5 in Atlanta, GA., as they square off again with the Lady Panthers.
